We are so pleased to have met with some of the participants and family members of the annual youth art contest in person on Dec 18th, 2021 in Cupertino Quinlan Community Center. Although we were all wearing masks due to Covid 19, we could still sense the loving smiles and supportive atmosphere in the air!
We are very honored to have Danuta Hutchins from Iowa join the party and give the audience an inspirational talk on how to incorporate art in one's life. Our representative from the award winners - Sara Fang also talked about her journey in pursuing art and shared her thoughts behind her award winning artwork "Sunny-side up". We also had a casual, but fun and engaging round table where everybody did a self introduction and shared their story of participating in the contest.
The party was wrapped up in a happy mood with lucky draws and art material distribution. Our volunteer - Helen Xu helped distribute the awards and materials.
