a big family, a house filled with four kids
blessed with love and kindness
echoing with the sounds of celebrations
I am from....
a team that dances and cheers
where we move to the beat and our feet make their own music
cheering on the team with, "Shoot that shot!"
where every cheer matters
I am from a kitchen which...
crafts soulful feasts
fries crispy chicken and bakes cheesy macaroni
roasts tasty corn and bakes hot pie
ices sweet cake
serves love around the table
making sure that everyone leaves happy
I am ....
my African roots
with skin that pops with melanin
unique and natural hair
eyes which are big and brown
blessed with beautiful genes and bright smiles
I am rooted in love!
