Lullaby of the Ether
By Lillian Perez-Guerrero
Oh, Flor de Canela, exquisite bloom,
Embodiment of my ancestral loom.
In your aromatic embrace, memories revive,
A journey reclaimed, where heritage thrives.
Through fragrant petals, whispers unfold,
Tales of resilience and stories untold.
Emblem of strength, connection renewed,
In your essence, my roots are pursued.
From native lands, where spirits reside,
I rediscover the path, long denied.
Cuanaxhuato echoes, enthused and profound,
In your presence, sacred wisdom is found.
With gentle sway, you bridge the divide,
Guiding my steps, a soulful stride.
Lullaby of the Ether, soothing and pure,
A symphony of belonging, my heartbreak’s cure.
Flor de Canela, a flame's gentle kiss,
Igniting the passion of ancestral bliss.
Evocations begin, essence prevails,
A tapestry woven, as heritage unveils.
As I tread this path, where secrets reside,
Embracing the past, a tale waiting to guide.
Oh, Flor de Canela, forever endure,
A symbol of rekindling, resilient and sure.
